Meditative Animal

Meditative Animal is singer songwriter Nick Mirisola's music project.  It is indie alternative folk rock with jazz, blues, hip hop, funk, and reggae influences that come together in a timeless original sound.  Frequently featuring other artists, Nick plays guitar, harmonica, hand percussion, in addition to dabbling in Guitarlele, Native American flute, melodica, keyboards, and bass.  On top of singing, and writing the songs and lyrics.  Nick also does the artwork.  He is a lay Zen monk, shaman, ordained Dudeist priest, and self dubbed Duddha.  Nick is also a published philosopher, and produces his own music.
