Lyrics

Social Gravity

Could the concept of free, possibly better be,
Washed way out to sea, than dictating our deeds?
Shouldn’t matters of heart be, more like our destinies,
Than just buried inside, for our egos to ride?
Wild or tame, yeah, heavenly or blame,
If you went up in flames, I think it’d be a shame.

Will there be a time where peace and justice don’t just seem like a paradox?
It’d be so refined to see mankind be the kind of man you’d find.
A righteous state of mind doesn’t really have to cost us all a dime.
If everyone was kind, utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy,
utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy,
utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy.

Do the holes and the ashes, of hellfire crashes,
Still seem cool to the classes, of up and coming badasses?
And would the souls of the masses, possibly better be,
With more sand dollar assets, than lining the pockets, of fat cat fur jackets?
Is this song in vain, because it causes pain?
Would you do your part, so things don’t turn out  lame?

Will there be a time where peace and justice don’t just seem like a paradox?
It’d be so refined to see mankind be the kind of man you’d find.
A righteous state of mind doesn’t really have to cost us all a dime.
If everyone was kind, utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy,
utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy,
utopia wouldn’t be such a fantasy.
